Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in several television series. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and were granted refugee status to remain. Ghanizada is the middle sibling of two sisters, and was brought up in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career by being featured in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in Laura Neri's movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of the performance, she received a nomination during the Festival of Cannes for the Best Actress Award. Television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. She has also appeared in a variety of independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 and the action-science film Blood Shot. Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008, when she joined the crew of The General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada as Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medical practices. Ghanizada played Kelly who was the Prada actress in HBO's Entourage.
